1335MABINI's AiRPManila provides time and space for Filipino and international artists, curators and creators for research, development and execution of creative projects.

The property of 1335MABINI includes a 350 m2 studio and living space as well as two exhibition spaces for contemporary art. AiRPManila provides air-conditioned bedrooms with private bath (without water heater), private and shared studio spaces and a common space. Electricity, water, bed sheets, towels, drinking water, WiFi and regular cleaning are included in the daily fee. The artist is responsible for her/his private expenses and transportation.

Launched in April 2013, the AiRPManila welcomes artists, curators, researchers and writers as well as institutions and ministries to apply for residencies with a minimum duration of one month and a maximum of three months. Bearing interest in the creative process, the proposed projects are considered to be temporary and not necessarily bound to an exhibition in 1335MABINI's exhibition spaces.

Upon arrival the artist will be introduced to the space and be informed about the area. 1335MABINI's premises are permanently attended by one of our staff and have private security service. We will assist in customizing the residency program based on individual needs and interests.
