Catalina Africa prowls the territorial boundaries of painting to create ritualistic arrangements, altars of abstract offerings, and diagrams of symbolic relations, where she discovers new horizons.

Caught in the explosion of violent emotions brought by the tropical heat, the paintings by Tom Dunn use abstract expressions coupled with anecdotal glimpses of raw life that arouse the skin like lusty animal grunts.

Carlo Ricafort's non-objective figuration toys with ethnic kitsch, employing characters in slapstick dance searching for meaning behind the fetish mask of identity, only to find conventions contrived to kill.
