1335MABINI, in partnership with Alliance Française de Manille (AFM) and Centre Intermondes, is pleased to host Vincent Ruffin as its artist-in-resident for August 2016.

The residency is made possible by the artistic and cultural cooperation between 1335MABINI, AFM and the French art organization Centres Intermondes in La Rochelle, France. The partnership works as a two way artistic exchange; while AFM supports the residency of a Filipino artist in Centre Intermondes with the Alliance Française de Manille-Philippine Artist Residency Program (AFM-PARP), 1335MABINI hosts a French artist for a residency in Manila.

Vincent Ruffin (b. 1972) is a painter based in La Rochelle, France.  His month-long residency at 1335MABINI is held in preparation for a solo exhibition that will run from 27 August to 23 September 2016.
